This signature project by Fern Santini included a number of lush outdoor spaces designed by Shademaker Studios. The plant palette was distinctively southern: Heritage Live Oaks are paired with oakleaf hydrangea, sweet viburnum, agapanthus and butterfly iris.  A double layer of full Japanese Yews created an instant privacy wall around the entire property. 

The house frames a hidden gem of an interior courtyard filled with topiaries. The pool area features a pair of twenty-foot Nelly Stevens hollies bracketing dramatic charcoal limestone steps.

Tucked into Japanese Yew is the entry gate built by Austin artist Lars Stanley. A large auto-gate complements the entry, designed by Shademaker and built by SLC from individually cut pieces of plate steel.
