When MML re-imagined the East Austin landmark Leal’s Tire Shop as Lou’s, we worked with Shademaker Studio to create an outdoor environment that felt fresh but true to the neighborhood.

We used a colorful plant palette of natives, succulents, and cacti planted in repurposed materials to create a big impact, low maintenance setting for Lou’s customers to enjoy. A highlight is the large, streetfront planter created from recycled tires.
