In the wide open spaces of Marfa, Liz Lambert’s hospitality project, El Cosmico, began as an artistic campground of vintage trailers, yurts, & tents spanning twenty-one acres. SLC has planted more than 75 trees on the property, and installed the signature Mexican wire grasses, trellises, and lights.

When El Cosmico later developed an apartment in the Brite Building in downtown Marfa, SLC brought in large terra cotta pots of mature plants to give the space a sense of verdure.
